The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said, "Whoever observes the evening prayer (1) in congregation has the reward of half a night spent in voluntary night prayer, and whoever observes the evening prayer and dawn prayer (2) in congregation has the reward of an entire night spent in voluntary night prayer."
